Andrew Mignatti

Co-Founder and CEO


Andrew is an accomplished molecular diagnostics industry professional, having spent over 20 years in the field. Andrew began his career at Allergy Testing Laboratory and became the regional director of sales before the company was ultimately acquired by LabCorp. As the director of business development at LabCorp, Andrew gained valuable insight into the operations of a major laboratory as he led the company through multiple successful acquisitions in his division. Prior to CMT Solutions, Andrew held executive leadership roles for molecular diagnostics companies, RedPath Inegrated Pathology (now Interpace Diagnostic) and then was the CEO for Perthera. At Perthera, Andrew successfully raised $10million in capital funding, and doubled the company revenue during his tenure, taking it from a small start-up to a fully operating business. CMT Solutions was founded in 2017, and Andrew has delivered extraordinary results in a short period of time, building a fully functioning proprietary automated software system, partnering with over 20 laboratories, including Quest and LabCorp, and growing a successful business from the ground up. His vision is to help all patients gain access to the correct personal medical diagnostic test for them to best manage their condition or disease.

Perry Dimas

Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer


In 2017, Perry co-founded CMT Solutions with Andrew Mignatti, as part of his dedication to simplifying the healthcare reimbursement process and improve patient outcomes. Prior to CMT, Perry founded AccessDx and also was general manager at Premier Source, which focused exclusively on the unique commercialization needs of novel diagnostic providers and manufacturers. Premier Source became part of AmerisourceBergen (ABC). At ABC, Perry was a member of the Lash Group leadership team. Lash is the largest HUB service provider in pharmaceuticals, leading patient and physician support services for the industry. He has also led the reimbursement efforts for Precision Therapeutics and XDx, diagnostic companies that are considered pioneers in the laboratory test development business model. Perry also has a passion for bringing together thought leaders and executives in personalized medicine and has founded the Diagnostics Conference as a forum to discuss current challenges and opportunities in launching a diagnostic test. He received his B.A. from University of Illinois

Sam Leslie

Director of Software Development


Sam leads the CMT development team which designs, creates, and maintains CMT’s technology and data systems. He has more than 20 years experience in software development and IT systems design across all sizes of enterprises, from small startups to large multinational corporations.

Prior to joining CMT, Sam was the Director of IT and Software Development for Perthera Inc, a biotechnology company using AI to improve cancer treatment outcomes. He was a Senior IT Architect in the IBM Cloud Marketplace Team where he was the lead and architect of several different agile development squads including the Marketplace API and the Bluemix API team.

Sam has a PhD in Zoology from the University of California Davis.

John Pavlovich

Chief Operating and Financial Officer


John brings significant experience in leading high growth operations and finance functions to CMT. John began his career at Arthur Andersen where he took on roles increasing in responsibility while gaining a strong background in strategy, finance and economic consulting. From there he worked as the COO of ArchivesOne, a records management company that grew over 40% each year for 7 consecutive periods through both organic growth and 20 acquisitions. When ArchivesOne merged with Iron Mountain it was the third largest records management company in the US. John worked in a similar role at TAS Messaging, which grew to one of the top 10 companies in its industry and then Onesource Water, which grew to the second largest provider of bottle-less water coolers in the US. In all of these roles, John built high functioning teams and processes focused on driving quality and efficiency through continuous improvement.

At CMT John is focused on providing great service to its laboratories, clinicians, and patients by continually improving accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness in its business processes.

Kari Timothy

VP of Sales


Kari is an accomplished sales leader with over 20 years of healthcare sales experience, across both the laboratory and the pharmaceutical industry. She has spent the past 10 years in the field of molecular diagnostics working for both small start-ups and also large laboratories. She helped grow Counsyl from less than 50 people, into what is now part of Myriad Women’s Health. Before joining CMT, Kari was at Ambry Genetics as their East Coast Director of Payer Relations. At Ambry, she was responsible for contracting with payers, advancing the medical policy as well as working directly with Lab Benefit Management companies. Kari has a bachelor's degree in both Biology and Psychology from Colby College.

Rachelle Galant

VP of Marketing


Prior to joining CMT, Rachelle was a global marketing director for AstraZeneca. In that role, she was responsible for the global commercial strategy for diabetes medicine and helped launched the product in more than 90 markets. Rachelle has also held positions in product management and analytics. Rachelle began her career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in engineering and operations. Rachelle has been in the pharmaceutical industry for 20 years, focused on marketing, strategy, and operations. She is passionate about helping patients through the healthcare industry, hoping to improve their experience and quality of life. She has a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Cornell University.

Dennis Smith Jr., MD Director

Dr. Smith possesses over thirty-five years of experience in healthcare management, pathology, laboratory medicine, outreach laboratory businesses, molecular diagnostics, and blood banking. He is a board-certified clinical and anatomic pathologist and transfusion medicine specialist. Dr. Smith’s professional career includes serving on the executive management team and Board of Directors of AmeriPath, Inc. (NASDAQ: PATH). While at AmeriPath, Dr. Smith’s positions included Chief Medical Officer, Executive Vice-President of Genomic Strategies, and Executive Director of AmeriPath’s Center for Advanced Diagnostics. Dr. Smith has previously held board seats at Immucor, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLUD), Clarient, Inc. (NASDAQ:CLRT), the American Association of Blood Banks where he served as President, the National Blood Foundation where he served as Chairman, and RedPath Integrated Pathology, Inc., a venture-backed, early-stage molecular diagnostics company where he served as CEO and led a successful sale of the company to PDI, Inc. He is an Emeritus member of the Committee of Visitors for Vanderbilt University School of Engineering, from which he graduated summa cum laude.

Dr. Smith received his BS from Vanderbilt and his MD from the University of TN.

Richard Gordan, Director

Rick is a Director of Inova Personalized Health Accelerator. He is responsible for identifying and investing in all IPHA companies and expediting their achievement of value-creating milestones. Rick is a proven leader with more than 25 years of experience in providing organizations with strategic growth direction. Before joining Inova, Rick served as founding managing partner of MACH37, a market-centric cybersecurity accelerator supported by a community of hundreds of industry leaders who contributed to company development. During his tenure at Mach37, Rick led investments in 46 disruptive technology companies.

Rick received his MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia and his B.S. in Engineering with Merit from the U.S. Naval Academy.

David Harrington, Director

Dave brings 35 years of increasingly responsible and successful experience in critical areas of healthcare delivery management. His particular interest lies in identifying and implementing key IS/IT initiatives that differentiate the enterprise and offer expanded efficiencies and savings to customers. Dave’s success is rare among senior healthcare managers. He has held executive positions at AETNA, UnitedHealthcare, Columbia/HCA, and Physician Quality Care.

As CEO of American Imaging Management (AIM) from 2001 to 2008, Dave turned around this radiology management business from minimal EBITDA and a negative net worth of $19M, grew the EBITDA to over $30M, and increased the net worth to $350M. In August 2007, AIM was sold to WellPoint for $307M. In 2009, Dave established DASH Business Group as a business advisory and development firm to early stage healthcare companies

Dave earned his graduate degree from Columbia University and undergraduate degree from Boston College.
